The Seleukid Kingdom- The territorial extent of this mighty realm varied greatly from period to period. At its zenith, under Selekos I and Antiochos I, it comprised almost the whole of Alexander’s conquests, except Egypt.

Demetrios I- son of Seleukos IV, Demetrios was a hostage in Rome at the time of is fathers death and thus unable to take up his inheritance. Demetrios had to wait thirteen years in Rome before ascending the Seleukid throne. Lost his life in battle against Alex Balas.
