Faustina Senior- Annia Galeria Faustina the daughter of Marcus Annius Verus, and the aunt of Marcus Aurelius. She was the wife of Antoninus Pius and the Mothers of Faustina Junior, the wife of Marcus Aurelius. She died in AD 141. Antoninus Pius erected a temple in his deceased wife’s honor and created a charity league for poor girls, called “the girls of Faustina”.
