American Buffalo

The American Gold Buffalo was first released in June of 2006. The purity is 24 karat gold. American Buffalos are authorized by the United States congress and backed by the U.S. Mint. The obverse depicts the profile of Native American which was first seen on the 1913 Buffalo nickel. The reverse depicts a Buffalo, the denomination and purity.
