The Highland Mint was established in the early 1980’s and is one of the most well known private mints today.The Highland Mint manufactures the silver Buffalo rounds amongst many other silver rounds. The buffalo rounds are 1 troy ounce of .999 silver. The obverse depicts the profile of Native American which was first seen on the 1913 Buffalo nickel along with the date.The reverse depicts a Buffalo, the denomination and purity.
