London Coin Galleries Newport Beach has been competitively dealing in physical precious metals for more than thirty years. We do not sell precious metals on our website. The items listed are examples of, but not limited to the products we sell at our gallery. Our private trading rooms provide a safe and secure environment to conduct business. Please call us during business hours to obtain product availability and current pricing.
- If you are a buyer – we accept two forms of payment for precious metals, cash, or wire transfer.
- If you are a seller – we pay via company check or cash (you must request cash ahead of time.
All precious metal sales are final, no returns or refunds, no exceptions. London Coin Galleries Newport Beach will buy back all precious metal at current market values.
Effective July 1, 2023 the exemption threshold for precious metals and numismatic coins is $2,000. California sales tax will not be charged on sales of rare coins and precious metals that are $2,000 and higher.
Cash sales in excess of $10,000 are reportable under the bank secrecy act and the USA Patriot Act. London Coin Galleries Newport Beach will require the necessary information from our customers to submit the required IRS form on cash transactions exceeding $10,000.
For each “reportable transaction” LCGON will obtain (via valid State or Federal Identification) the name, address, and tax ID or social security number of the person with whom business is transacted or the person or company they are legally representing.
- Gold Bars: 1 Kilo (32.15 Troy Ounces) in any mix of sizes, in excess of.
- Gold Coin (Maple Leaf, Krugerrand, Mexican Onza): 25 Troy Ounces, in any mix of sizes.
- Silver Bars: 1,000 Troy Ounces. In any mix of sizes.
- 90% Silver Coinage : $1,000 face value. In any mix of denominations.
- Platinum Bars : 25 Troy Ounces. In any mix of sizes.
- Palladium Bars: 100 Troy Ounces. In any mix of sizes.
