Additional Information
Two types of specimens of this meteorite occur. The first is a “Thumb printed Individual”, showing fusion crust and signs of atmospheric ablation. The second is “Shrapnel or Fragmented” specimens, sharp-edged pieces of tom metal showing evidence of violent fragmentation. The 1st type broke off in early decent, while the second were fragments either torn apart during atmospheric explosions or blasted apart on impact.
